Created as a submission for the 20th International Biennale of Theatre Poster, organized by the Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre in Rzeszów, Poland. Inspired by Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis, this poster explores transformation, deterioration and dehumanization. I focused on the gradual loss of identity and the unsettling relationship between the human and the inhuman that lies at the heart of Kafka’s story. The concept is expressed through a minimal and typographic visual language. By distorting and transforming the typography, I aimed to create a visual sense of change and deterioration while maintaining a restrained composition. The poster reflects the protagonist’s alienation and the loss of humanity that accompanies his transformation.
